What a term!

What a wonderful time we have had!

All great Fun and thanks to these amazing young artists who have been so inspiring with their creations and their different perspectives.

Here are some of the Art Projects we have been enjoying.

Re-imaging and imagining ourselves in our on-going abstract self-portrait walls.

 

Exploring line, pattern and aerial landscapes.

Thinking like Matisse in our playing with organic and geometric shapes and colour

So much fun with the mixing and textures of paint in out 2-step mono print project.

 

Lots of fun and so productive, nobody wanted to stop art-making and go home. 

 

All participants have had incredible ideas and are proving themselves to be very fine young artists. 

So many more projects that we did I am still getting through all the photos.

Unlock your child's inner artist

After school art sessions for children ages for 6-11

Small group art sessions in a working artist’s studio

Fun and inspiring, promoting individual self-expression and original thought.

There is no right or wrong way to create.  The aim is to release your child's inner artist.

Sessions are run by artist, Jacquelyn Stephens, mother of two and professional artist, at her art studio in East St Kilda.

The Art Projects are about enjoying and exploring materials, the development of skills, art knowledge and language.  Building confidence and nurturing creativity is part of this process.

Jacquelyn is a graduate of Victorian College of the Arts (Fine Art: painting) and works as a professional artist, but also has experience teaching art to children from kindergarten to primary level.

‘Kids Make Art’ sessions are due to commence on the 2nd week of term 1 that is the week beginning Monday February 4.

Each session runs for 2 hours after school.

Cost is $240 per young artist for the 8-week term 1, all materials and equipment supplied.

All enquires are welcome.

Bookings are essential to creatively cater for all.
Groups are small so places are limited.
